The Data Exchange Agent is an open source tool to simplify uploading of problem reports into your CRM or Works Management Systems. The Data Exchange Agent would be installed locally in your network and will periodically download reports from the Report it server for subsequent upload to a local system. Upload to the local system is established simply by configuring a destination web service (or FTP destination or SQL command) and an XSL stylesheet that converts problem report xml into the required web service input. Most UK council works management systems require problem reports to be associated with an NLPG address reference (UPRN). The Report it API automatically associates all reports with the UPRN of the address the problem relates to or the UPRN of the address closest to an exact grid reference.
